YOU SILLY NPC | When the artist saw people use the NPC meme, he noticed that a lot of the others in those comment sections were repeating the same lines that others did, word for word, punctuation for punctuation. It made him wonder if these people, too, were unaware of their status. Watercolor + Gouache H 15" W 11" |

SWALLOWED BY THE DUNGEON | There's been many games where you explore the innards of some beast as if it were a dungeon. Most notably is The Legend of Zelda's very own Jabu-Jabu's Belly. In this instance, however, it is not that the beast has become a dungeon, rather, it is the dungeon which has become a beast. The viewer's point of view shows us the last lights before the closing of the maw. Watercolor + Gouache H 15" W 11" |

BRUTE WIZARD | An experimentation in pastel colors, which the artist failed to do in his L7 series. The maze, too, is mostly experimentation, after having done one for MASTER QUEST prior. Watercolor + Gouache H 15" W 11" |

GOING DOWN IN A BLAZE OF FOOLISHNESS | The party stops to forage and fish for their meal. The Red Pilgrim and the Green Wanderer spot atop a fallen tree, their companion, the Purple Fool, who sings and dances and poses and preens like a silly man. But the amusements halted abruptly when the rotten tree, after years of gravity and moisture wearing it down, snapped under the jovial strain, and down the fool went, to his death. LONG LIVE THE FOOL | After the death of the Purple Fool, his companions drew his body back to camp, and set him by the fire. The had a final round of reverie and even sang and danced in his honor, for it was the only funeral service that could be afforded to him. The party, with the fool dead, ceases to be, and the remaining two go their separate ways. Watercolor + Gouache H 15" W 11" |

YOU GET NOTHING | Inspired by a long trek back home, during the summer swelter of August, like the painter, who, on an empty stomach, had to walk for miles before he could make it back to his lodgings, the Red Pilgrim, too, was on a long walk, and running out of energy. Passer byers practically flaunt their water supply, while leaning back in great laughter, seemingly unaware, or perhaps totally unconcerned, with the well being of a collapsed traveler. The Red Pilgrim looks away. It is not his place to force them to care. Watercolor + Gouache H 15" W 11" |

WHERE IS HE? FIND HIM! / SHHH, LISTEN | The guards sound the alarm the second they realize something is afoot. The Red Pilgrim, however, has already studied the maps and retrieved the documents he needs, and absconds into the attic space above the room which he helped himself to food, drink, and information. The lead guard looks down at the map and tries to figure out what the Red Pilgrim was looking for... Watercolor + Gouache H 15" W 11" |

NOW GIVE US YOUR BLEEDING HEART | You see the angels through the light, for whom you give your life for. They accept your sacrifice in kind, and vow to show you the final step of your virtuous cleansing of that which you find wicked. But does not the air seem dense with sulfur? Do you not find it odd that you are now shackled? Have you neither clue nor concern about your whereabouts or fate? This is the second of three paintings depicting a "white knight" and his bleeding heart. Watercolor + Gouache H 15" W 11" |

|
DISPLAY TRUE VIRTURE | Is this what you wanted? Do you really believe an angel has guided you to your demise? That your own death is the ultimate sign of virtue? The spear lurks from without the light, ready to impale you. Even now, you spread yourself out like a whore. Was it worth it? Watercolor + Gouache H 15" W 11" |

L7UP-01 | A painting meant to be in the L7 series, of which ENTICER and SPECTRUM were both a part of. The third and final set was supposed to be all pale pastel colors, but in the end, was abandoned due to how heavy handed with pigment the artist was. Watercolor + Gouache H 15" W 11" |
